Can children with special needs other than autism register for an event?

Yes. Although the mission of Blossoming in Nature is to help children with autism get involved in nature, we encourage any children with special needs to join our program.

 

What is the minimum age to volunteer?
We don't have a specific age requirement, but there are some duties that a volunteer is expected to fill that are listed on the "Volunteers" page.

How long does an event last?
Each event usually lasts three to four hours.

How to signup for an event as a family who has a child with special needs?

Go to the "Events", find the upcoming event, and click the 'Participant signup" button. 

 

How to signup for an event as a Volunteer?

Go to the "Events", find the upcoming event, and click the 'Volunteer signup" button. If a family has more than one volunteer, please signup once, and leave the two volunteers' names and contact information.

I want to support your organization. How do I donate?

We currently only accept donations through Paypal, Zelle Quickpay or cash. We are working on expanding our donation options to other platforms such as apple pay.
